The Soria Moria Sauna, located just 48 km from our holiday home, is not just a sauna but a piece of art beautifully situated on the shores of Lake Bandak in Dalen, Telemark. This sauna is part of the “Tales of the Waterway” project and was created by a collaborative Nordic design team. The design reflects local myths with its shimmering golden shingles and architecture inspired by the surrounding mountainous landscapes.
Booking Information
The Soria Moria Sauna Telemark can accommodate up to 15 people per session, with the following pricing tiers based on group size:
- 1-5 people: 300 NOK
- 6-10 people: 600 NOK
- 11-15 people: 900 NOK

Upon arrival, you will find the Soria Moria Sauna pre-heated. It’s essential to shower before entering to maintain cleanliness and hygiene. Although there is no toilet or shower in the sauna itself, nearby sanitary facilities are available, complete with showers and toilets, about 200 meters from the sauna.
